The Dodgers pitching staff has been decimated this season and will not be regaining their star pitcher in Walker Buehler. It was announced yesterday by the Dodgers that Buehler will not be returning to the club after his Tommy John surgery.

"My goal since last year has been to return to a major league mound this season"
Walker Buehler stated

There's no question the amount of reinforcements this Dodgers staff needs. They have been riddled with injuries all season long. Buehler has been one of the best pitchers in baseball in the last few seasons. Compiling a career best 2.47 ERA in 2021.

The Dodgers can now turn to their longtime ace, Clayton Kershaw, to make a comeback to the staff before October hits. Walker Buehler is said to be getting ready to return from his surgery at the start of the 2024 MLB season.
