Kansas City Royals Start Continues After 7 Straight Wins

There have been a total of 13 games for the Kansas City Royals. They're currently 9-4 and have the third-best record in the American League. The Royals have won 7 straight games and have swept the White Sox and the Astros. It's a good sight to see the Royals, who have been a bottom team in the league the past few years get off to such a good start.

The Royals starting pitchers have been fabulous. They have averaged the most innings per start in all of MLB. With that, the Royals have a spectacular 1.98 ERA when it comes to starting pitching. The Royals starting pitchers have been one of the best pitching staffs in all of baseball through the first two weeks of the season.

The pitching staff for the Royals hasn't been the only good thing, their offense has been dominant also. Here is where the Royals offense ranks among all of MLB for some offensive stats:

Batting average: .264, 9th.

Home runs: 17, 3rd.

RBI's: 66, 7th.

Strikeouts: 95, 7th.

Stolen bases: 17, 4th.

Runs: 72, 6th.

Hits: 115, 8th.

Doubles: 22, 11th.

Triples: 3, 4th.

OBP: .326, 12th.

SLG: .445, 4th.

The Royals currently sit in second place in the American League Central. Before the season, many people weren't high on the Royals. The season is a few weeks in, and the Royals have been one of the best teams. It's going to be interesting to see if the Royals have what it takes to continue this hot start throughout the entire season.
