Phillies No. 3 Starting Pitcher Continues to Have an Impressive Spring

There's just a little over a week until the regular season starts for all teams. It's at the point in spring training where everyone can start to look at players stats to see how they're doing. Well, for the Phillies starting pitcher, Ranger Suarez, he's having a great spring training.

This year's spring training is one of the only ones where Ranger Suarez is entering it fully healthy. It's worth to note that last year Suarez had to leave the World Baseball Classic early and began the season on the injured list. This year, Suarez is finally healthy and showing everyone what he can do.

It's really no small sample size anymore for anyone in spring training this year. It's now March 20th, and Ranger Suarez is putting on a show this Spring. In 4 games and 15 IP, Suarez has a 2-0 record, 0.00 ERA, 16 K's, and a 0.60 WHIP. No matter what part of the season it is, those are impressive stats for Ranger Suarez.

The Phillies haven't seen a full regular season out of Ranger Suarez. If this year's spring training is any sign of what Suarez can do in a full season, that's going to be pretty fun to watch. It'll be interesting to see if Ranger Suarez can transfer his great Spring into the regular season.
