The Los Angeles Angels signed catcher, Francisco Mejía to a minor league contract. Francisco Mejía made his MLB debut in 2017, and has bounced around from three different teams since then.

Francisco Mejía made his debut with Cleveland, then, in 2018 he went to San Diego, and since then, he's been playing for the Tampa Bay Rays. That's a total of seven seasons playing in the MLB for Francisco Mejía.

Francisco Mejía has mainly played as a bench player, but he's been solid at that. Mejía has played 355 career games, he's slashed .239/.284/.394, with 29 HR's, 118 RBI's, 50 BB's, 244 hits, and a .678 OPS.

Francisco Mejía is just 28-years-old, he does have the potential to be a solid player with the Angels. Depending on how Mejía performs, he could be a backup catcher for the Angels young star, Logan O'Hoppe.
