Astros One Win Away, Altuve Makes History

The Houston Astros stunned the Texas Rangers with a instant thriller last night. The 5-4 victory marks the Astros third win a row after being down 2-0 in the ALCS and are now just one win away from another World Series appearance. The main reason last night? None other than old reliable, Jose Altuve.

Altuve has been one of the best postseason hitters the game has ever seen, and last night was just another game in which he made his mark. Altuve joined teammate Yordan Alvarez and Albert Pujols as the only three players to have go-ahead HRs in 9th inning or later when trailing by multiple runs in postseason history. His 26 career postseason home runs only trail Manny Ramirez for most in history.

Altuve's three run home run gave the Astros a 3-2 series lead against their division rival Texas Rangers. They will have another chance in Houston to seal the deal on Sunday. The Astros continue to find a way each and every year to continue their impressive dynasty.
