Astros Starter Finally Turning his Season Around

To start out the 2024 season it was a huge struggle for the whole entire Houston Astros roster. Wheather it was injuries or just players not playing up to their potential, it seemed to always be something that was making the Astros struggle. There were some players in specific who were struggling a lot, especially when it came to pitching.

One player that stood out when it came to struggling players was right hander Hunter Brown. In 2022 Hunter Brown was lights out. Last year, it was a rough year for him. Although, coming into this season Hunter Brown had some expectations of being a top pitcher for the Astros.

It has been an unreal turnaround for Hunter Brown. Here is a perfect stat that proves that Brown is shutting down every team that he faces as of late.

Hunter Brown’s ERA in his first 11 starts: 6.18 (2nd worst in MLB)

Hunter Brown’s ERA in his last 5 starts: 0.29 (best in MLB)

There’s no question that the Astros are fun turning their season around. In addition their players are too, especially Hunter Brown. It was weird to see Hunter Brown struggle as much as he did to begin the season, but he’s now back and pitching to his full potential.
