Yesterday, the Atlanta Braves announced they've signed C Travis d'Arnaud to a one-year, $8 million contract. It will cover the 2024 season, and he'll have a club option for 2025 for $8 million. They're officially keeping the best catching duo of himself, and Sean Murphy together.
Travis d'Arnaud is having a good year. Obviously, he doesn't play everyday due to having Sean Murphy as the starting catcher, but d'Anaud does sometimes get the start at DH. This season in 38 games, d'Arnaud is slashing, .265/.338/.478, to go along with that, he's launched 8 HR's, 23 RBI's, and a .816 OPS.

As mentioned above, the Braves have the best catching duo of Sean Murphy and Travis d'Arnaud. This extension is gonn help the already loaded Atlanta Braves. The Atlanta Braves are probably the best team in baseball, and they just locked up another piece to their team.
