Both NL Wild Card Series End in Sweeps

The two NL Wild Card series are officially over. They both ended in sweeps. The two matchups were between the Philadelphia Phillies against the Miami Marlins, the other matchup was between the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Milwaukee Brewers.


The Philadelphia Phillies and the Miami Marlins was a division rival wild card matchup. The Phillies dominated on all cylinders in this series. The Phillies two aces, Zack Wheeler and Aaron Nola were both on. They combined for 13.2 IP, 8 H, 1 ER, 1 BB, and 11 SO. The Phillies will now face another division rival in the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS beginning on Saturday.


The young and exciting Arizona Diamondbacks took down the Milwaukee Brewers. It was pretty impressive how the Diamondbacks went into Milwaukee and dominated. Many people were expecting the Diamondbacks to lose game one due to the fact that they couldn't pitch their two aces, Zac Gallen or Merrill Kelly. Now, the Diamondbacks will be able to set up for Merrill Kelly to pitch game one against the Dodgers, and Zac Gallen will pitch game two in


Both the Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks are so exciting. It's going to be fun for these two teams to compete in the National League Division Series. These two series are both beginning on Saturday, it's going to be a lot of fun.
