Austin Riley is expected to miss 6-8 weeks of action. There’s only 6 more weeks left in the season. The Braves are currently sitting at the third wild card spot. So, if they do make the playoffs, Riley could miss the first few games.

Each year that Austin Riley has been in the league it seems like he continues to get better as a player. This year has been no different. His average is down a bit, but the home runs and RBI’s are still there. In 110 games, Riley is slashing .256/.322/.461, with 19 HR, 56 RBI, and a .783 OPS.

Austin Riley is also playing at a high level on defense. That’s another part that the Braves will miss a lot. They did just get Michael Harris || back which is a huge help on defense.

Austin Riley’s 2024 stats:

110 games | .256/.322/.461 | 19 HR | 56 RBI | .783 OPS

The Braves will have to continue to fight through injuries like they have been all season long. Austin Riley is a great player and a great leader. The Braves will definitely miss his production for the rest of the season.
