Brewers No. 1 Prospect Will be on Their Opening Day Roster

The Milwaukee Brewers No. 1 prospect and the MLB's No. 2 prospect, Jackson Chourio has made the Brewers Opening Day roster. According to the team. Chourio signed an 8-year, $82 million extension with the Brewers this off-season, so Brewers fans will surely get used to seeing Jackson Chourio at the MLB level.

Jackson Chourio is 20-years-old. According to Sarah Langs of MLB Network, if Jackson Chourio starts on Opening Day, he will be the 5th youngest player to start on Opening Day in the divisional era (1969).

The Brewers are banking on Jackson Chourio to perform at a high level in his career. If Chourio's MLB career is anything like his MiLB career, it's going to be good.

Jackson Chourio has been playing in the MiLB for a good amount of time. In a total of 272 minor league games, Jackson Chourio slashed .282/.338/.467, with 47 home runs, 91 RBI's, 44 stolen bases, 26 doubles, 3 triples, and a .837 OPS.

The future of the Milwaukee Brewers is in good hands. Seeing a player make his debut as early and young as Jackson Chourio is pretty awesome. It's great to see teams starting to give their young players a chance to perform at the highest level like the Brewers are with Jackson Chourio.
