Brewers Sign Veteran INF to Minor League Deal

Yesterday, it was announced that the Milwaukee Brewers signed veteran 3B Josh Donaldson to a minor league contract just 3 days ago. He will report to AAA Nashville Sounds. The struggling third baseman will get another shot with a minor league deal.

Donaldson's 2023 has been filled with struggling at-bats and injuries. In 33 games with the Yankees this season, Donaldson slashed .142/.225/.434 with just 10 home runs and 15 RBI.

Donaldson has seemingly lost his power out of his bat, but still provides value with his excellent defense at third base. Donaldson will likely get some time to prove that he can still contribute at the major league league level.
