The Dodgers announced they activated LHP Clayton Kershaw off the IL. Yesterday, Kershaw made his first start since returning from the IL. It was his first start since June. Clayton Kershaw had been sidelined for shoulder inflammation.
In Kershaw's first start back from the IL, he didn't disappoint. He pitched 5 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, and 4 SO. Clayton Kershaw pitched just 67 pitches due to the Dodgers not trying to risk another injury.
Clayton Kershaw is in his 16th season, but he's certainly pitching like he's still in his prime. In 17 starts, Kershaw has pitched 100.1 innings, 10-4 record, 2.51 ERA, 109 SO, and a 1.03 WHIP.
