CLEVELAND, OH: The Guardians are off to a shockingly good start in their 2024 campaign. Cleveland has gotten contributions from every aspect of the club, but none might be bigger than outfielder Steven Kwan.

Kwan, 26, has spent the last three seasons in the Cleveland organization and has come along way from his rookie days. His 2024 has seen a drastic improvement in almost every category possible.

The lefty is slashing a whopping .397/.456/.554 with 5 home runs across his 205 plate appearances. Kwan has never been a power hitter, but has almost tied his career high in homers in drastically less at bats.

Kwan has proven to be a huge contributor to this young Cleveland squad and getting on base consistently. Kwan currently has more three hit games than he does one hit games, a crazy statistic in itself.

He's got the most three-hit games in MLB despite missing four weeks. Since returning from the IL on June 2, he's hitting .489/.556/.702, proving he’s one of the game’s top contact hitters. With Cleveland’s continued success, Kwan might be the one to thank the most.
