Marcus Stroman is having a pretty good season. He was selected as an all-star this year, he declined to go, but was still an all-star. In 23 starts, 128.2 IP, Stroman has a 3.85 ERA, 111 SO, and a 1.24 WHIP.
The Chicago Cubs are currently fighting for a playoff spot. This is the last thing the Chicago Cubs needed to hear. There's currently no timetable return for Marcus Stroman. This is terrible news for Stroman and the Cubs.
