The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired RHP Tyler Glasnow and OF Manuel Margot from the Tampa Bay Rays. In exchange, the Dodgers sent RHP Ryan Pepiot and OF Jonny Delcua. The Dodgers have been very active this offseason.

Dodgers Additions:

Tyler Glasnow has proven himself to be a good pitcher. The only problem is his injuries. If Glasnow can stay healthy, he's very dominant. In 2023, Glasnow made 21 starts. He posted a 10-7 record, 3.53 ERA, 162 SO, and a 1.08 WHIP.

The other player the Dodgers are getting, is Manuel Margot. Margot is a OF, and he's always been a solid player. In 2023, Margot played in 99 games. He slashed .264/.310/.376, with 4 HR's, 38 RBI's, and a .686 OPS.

Rays Additions:

For what the Rays are getting, first is RHP Ryan Pepiot. Pepiot hasn't seen much of the MLB, but when he has, he's been good. In 17 regular season career starts, Pepiot has posted a 5-1 record, 2.76 ERA, 80 SO, and a 1.09 WHIP.

For the other player the Rays are getting, is OF Jonny Delcua. Delcua, who is just 25-years-old, has barely played at the MLB level. In just 42 at-bats, Delcua has 2 HR's, and 6 RBI's. Jonny Delcua is ranked as MLB's 20th best prospect, so he has a bright future.

This is a good trade for both sides. The Dodgers are getting two proven players in Tyler Glasnow and Manuel Margot. The Dodgers really needed starting pitching and they got that with Tyler Glasnow. The Rays are getting two young talents in Ryan Pepiot and Jonny Deluca, both have bright futures.
