The Los Angeles Dodgers and star Japanese right-handed pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto are in agreement on a contract. It is worth 12 years, $325 million contract. Yamamoto is now the highest paid pitcher in MLB history.

There were many teams in on Yoshinobu Yamamoto. From the Yankees, Mets, Phillies, and the Red Sox. Although, it will be the Los Angeles Dodgers who will land the star pitcher.

In the last three straight seasons, Yoshinobu Yamamoto has won the most valuable player award. Also, in the last three staright seasons Yamamoto has won three consecutive Sawmuara awards, which is Japan's CY Young award.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto has played seven seasons in Japan. He has a 75-30 record, 967.2 innings pitched, 986 SO, 1.72 ERA, and a 0.915 WHIP. Those stats are very good, and that's why he's the best free-agent pitcher.

The Dodgers have already signed Shohei Ohtani, and now they add to that buy signing another great free-agent. The Dodgers are stacked, and there's no question about that.
