The Los Angeles Dodgers yesterday placed RHP, Joe Kelly on the 15 day-IL. This was due to forearm inflammation. Joe Kelly will currently miss some time, which is the last thing the Dodgers needed has he's been really solid for them.
The Dodgers for Joe Kelly in this years trade deadline. He's been a nice addition to the Dodgers bullpen. In 35 games this year, Kelly has posted a 4.41 ERA, 48 SO, and a 1.29 WHIP.
The Dodgers certainly have some breathing room for the lead in the NL West. They're 8.5 games ahead of the San Francisco Giants for first place. This is obviously a hit to the bullpen, but the Dodgers will have to keep adding onto the NL West lead.
