Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw has been placed on the 15-day injured list. He has a bone spur in his toe. This is now the second time that Kershaw will be on the injured list. Per, Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts spoke on Clayton Kershaw going to the injured list. Here is what he had to say: “There’s so much swelling, he can barely move around with it,” Dave Roberts said.

That’s obviously not very good news for Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers. He left his start early yesterday and the Dodgers said it was due to left big toe pain. Now, it’s confirmed and Kershaw will miss some more time.

After last season, Clayton Kershaw wasn’t sure if he would retire or not. He decided to re-sign with the Dodgers on a two-year, $10 million deal. Kershaw has made just 7 starts this year, he’s pitched 30 innings. Clayton Kershaw has a 2-2 record, 4.50 ERA, 24 SO, and a 1.50 WHIP.

It’s uncertain how much time Clayton Kershaw will miss. It could be the rest of the season. Many people are saying this could be Kershaw’s last year. If it is, no matter what Clayton Kershaw has had an incredible career.
