The Dodgers announced yesterday, that SP Tony Gonsolin will likely miss the remainder of 2023 with a elbow injury. The Dodgers have dealt with injuries in the starting rotation all season long, Gonsolin is just the next domino to fall.
Gonsolin is sporting a 8-5 record with a 4.98 ERA, along with 82 strikeouts. Gonsolin had a career season in 2022 and has seemingly come back to earth in 2023.
As mentioned, the Dodgers have dealt with this all season long, their starting rotation has gotten healthier with the returns of Julio Urías and Clayton Kershaw. The Dodgers hold a commanding lead in the NL West and will look to gear up for October.
