Former Yankees Top Prospect Thriving In San Francisco

Back in April of 2021, the New York Yankees traded INF Thairo Estrada to the San Francisco Giants in exchange for cash considerations. Estrada has made the Yankees look a bit foolish for that deal since joining the club as a consistent presence.

In 2023, Estrada has found his stroke, slashing an impressive .291/.342/.489 with 9 home runs and 24 RBI. Estrada struggled a tad after joining the club but has settled into a very nice role for the Giants. He seemed to have found a power swing along with his consistency of base hits.

Thairo Estrada has been on a mission this season and the Bay Area might be his home for the foreseeable future. This marks another great trade for the Giants for their young core of players to build around.
