Guardians Young Outfielder Lands on the 10-Day Injured List

The Cleveland Guardians have placed outfielder Steven Kwan on the 10-day injured list. Kwan left the Guardians game on Saturday due to hamstring tightness. He was set to undergo further tests on the injury, but the Guardians decided it would be best to just place Steven Kwan on the IL. Now, the Guardians will be without one of their top performers on offense this season.

The Guardians are off to an amazing start in 2024. Steven Kwan is a huge reason for that. Through 32 games played for the Guardians, they currently hold a 22-12 record and in first place in the American League Central division. That is a .647 winning percentage. Steven Kwan has been a top 3 offensive player for the Guardians, so they will most definitely miss him in their lineup.

This season is Steven Kwan’s third season at the MLB level. Through 32 games and a total of 133 at-bats, Kwan is slashing .353/.407/.496, with 3 home runs, 11 RBI’s, 3 stolen bases, and a .903 OPS.

Steven Kwan has always been a huge part of the Guardians lineup. With him out now, this is the time where other players in their lineup will have to step up. It’s unknown how long Steven Kwan will be out of action, but any time missed for Kwan will be bad for the Guardians.
