The St. Louis Cardinals have been one of the worst teams in all of baseball all year. They have the worst record in the NL, with a record of 27-42, and they have the 3rd worst record in all of MLB, in front of the Royals and Athletics.
There star 3B, Nolan Arenado said postgame "I don't know if you'd call it a stretch anymore. It's just bad baseball. We have been playing bad baseball for awhile now."
It's already June 15th, coming into the year, the Cardinals we're picked to win the NL Central. They sit in 5th place in the NL Central, 9 games out of 1st place.
It's simple, the Cardinals have been playing bad baseball all year, there's no signs of it stopping either, as they've lost 13 out of there last 17. There's no telling when the Cardinals will turn it around, but they're going to have to start to turn it around very soon before it's to late.
