The Seattle Mariners are in agreement on a minor league contract with utility man Cole Tucker. The deal includes an invite to major league spring training. Per, Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

Cole Tucker has been a utility man his whole entire career. Tucker made his MLB debut in 2019 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played with them till 2022. Last year, Cole Tucker spent the 2023 season with the Colorado Rockies.

Cole Tucker always gives it his all. For his career, Tucker has had 479 career at-bats. He's slashed .216/.266/.318, with 96 hits, 5 HR's, 37 RBI's, and a .584 OPS. Cole Tucker's stats may not look the best, but he is a team player, and always plays hard.

For the Mariners, they're adding some depth to their roster. When there's a long season like the MLB has, you can never have enough players to contribute. Cole Tucker will get his shot to make the MLB roster in Spring Training.
