The Seattle Mariners have placed starting pitcher Bryan Woo on the 15-day injured list with a hamstring injury. Per, the official Twitter of the Mariners.
As a corresponding move, the Mariners have recalled RHP Collin Snider from Triple-A Tacoma.
When it comes to hamstring injuries, it’s tough for pitchers. It’s more likely that a position player would be out due to a hamstring injuries. There have been a a solid amount of hamstring injuries in the MLB this season.
Bryan Woo has solidified himself as a member of the Mariners rotation. Each year it has seemed he’s getting better and better, him getting injured is the worse thing that could’ve happened especially with how well he has been pitching this year.
Bryan Woo’s stats in 2024:
8 starts | 3-1 record | 40.2 IP | 1.77 ERA | 28 SO | 0.69 WHIP
If Bryan Woo wasn’t injured so much this season, he could’ve been looking forward to being on the All-Star team. The focus for Bryan Woo is to get healthy and continue to pitch likes he’s been once he gets back.
