Max Scherzer’s Return Did Not Go Well

Photo via Yahoo Sports

Max Scherzer hasn't pitched since September 12th as he suffered a strained teres major mustle in his right shoulder. Scherzer has been rehabbing to make a return this postseason. He did just that as the Rangers had him on the ALCS roster, it didn't go as expected.

Max Scherzer has been declining in the playoffs the last couple years. Scherzer's game three start last night in the ALCS proved that to be true. Max Scherzer pitched 4 IP, 5 H, 5 ER, 1 BB, and 4 SO.

It's unknown weather Max Scherzer will make another start in this year's playoffs. If he does, the hope would be that he can make a big bounce back start. If Max Scherzer could pitch better in the playoffs, it would be a huge boost to the Texas Rangers.
