Miami Marlins 2B Makes MLB History

Miami Marlins second baseman, Luis Arráez made mlb history by becoming the first ever player to win the batting title in both leagues in consecutive seasons. Luis Arráez won the batting title in the American League last year with the Twins, and he now won the batting title in the National League this year with the Marlins.


Last year, Luis Arráez finished the season with a .316 batting average with the Twins. The Twins then traded Luis Arráez to the Marlins for pitcher Pablo Lopez. This year, Luis Arráez finished the season with a .354 batting average.


Now that Luis Arráez officially made MLB history, he will look towards the MLB postseason. Luis Arráez will look to carry his good season into the postseason and try to help the Marlins this year in the playoffs.
