BREAKING: The MLB uniform fiasco of this spring is finally being addressed, according to an MLBPA memo obtained by ESPN, per Jeff Passan of ESPN.
"Nike was innovating something that didn’t need to be innovated.”
The new uniforms that Major League Baseball introduced at the beginning of this season has caused all sorts of controversy among players and the fans. After the thousands of complaints, the issue is being addressed.
The biggest issues that have been raised have been the pants and lettering on the jerseys. Luckily for fans and players, these are the issues that are going to be addressed.
Major League Baseball is planning to return to the larger lettering, fixing the mismatched grey tops and bottoms, and addressing the sweat induced issues.
These issues are all expected to be fixed by the start of the 2025 season, giving the same uniforms to be used for the remainder of the 2024 season.
