At last, the Baltimore Orioles now own sole possession of first place in the AL East for the first time in seven years. It has been quite the journey for the Orioles and their fanbase.

For years the Baltimore Orioles have been one of the league's biggest laughing stocks. However, with the time spent outsiders have been laughing, the O's were quietly building their future. From great draft picks to great returns on trades, the Orioles are now set for the future.

The Orioles are loading with young talent and are looking like true World Series contenders. One worry heading into the trade deadline for this team is starting pitching. However, as mention, the young talent that the O's have could easily bring in some top pitching trade targets in the next few weeks.

This Orioles team is absolutely ready to be an elite club for the foreseeable future. It has been a long time coming, but has seemingly worked out perfectly for them. Ladies and gentlemen, the Baltimore Orioles are officially back.
