Nelson Cruz Officially Announces His Retirement From MLB

Longtime MLB player, Nelson Cruz officially announced his retirement from baseball yesterday. Nelson Cruz spent 19 season playing baseball. It was a great career for Nelson Cruz, he was certainly well respected around baseball.


Over Nelson Cruz's 19 seasons in the MLB, he played with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2005, Texas Rangers from 2006-2013, Baltimore Orioles in 2014, Seattle Mariners from 2015-2018, Minnesota Twins from 2019-2021, Tampa Bay Rays in 2021, Washington Nationals in 2022, and the San Diego Padres in 2023.


Nelson Cruz reached many milestones, won many awards, and overall meant so much to baseball. Nelson Cruz was a 7x All-Star, 2011 ALCS MVP, 4x Silver Slugger, won the 2021 Roberto Clemente Award, 2,053 hits, 1,325 RBI's, and he had 464 career home runs.
