The New York Mets got permission to interview Craig Counsell for their manager. The Mets fired their former manager Buck Showalter at the end of the 2023 season, and now they will have to find a new manger for the upcoming season.

There is a pretty good shot that Craig Counsell will be the next manager for the Mets. The Mets recently hired David Stearns to be their president of baseball operations who also came over from the Brewers.

Craig Counsell became the Brewers manager in May of 2015. Counsell has a 707-625 record as the Brewers manager. Craig Counsell has always been a good manager. If Craig Counsell becomes the next manager for the Mets, they're in good hands.
