Newest Yankee Superstar Impressing During Spring Training

Juan Soto has barely had time to get acquainted to his new home for the next year, and is already off to a scorching spring. The 25 year old outfielder has taken GMS Field by storm in the Grapefruit League.

Soto has not seen a ton of action thus far, but it's enough to get the Yankees front office and fanbase thinking of Opening Day. Soto has gone 4-for-6 with 2 HR (one being a 419-foot blast off the batter’s eye), 2 2B, 2 BB, 4 R and 6 RBI. The .667/.750/.2.000 slash line is just the icing on the cake.

So far, the Yankees have ran out lineups with their two generational talents hitting second and third. Soto and Judge are proving to be a lethal one-two combo for skipper Aaron Boone.

Not only has Soto added the much needed protection to Aaron Judge, but Anthony Rizzo chimed in on the fun with his hot start to spring training.

Yankee fans and their front office can dream of this reality for just one guaranteed season. With Soto slated to become a free agent after the 2024 season, their is no guarantee that the generational talent will find his way back to the Bronx.

With his hot start to spring training and his projected phenomenal 2024 season, the Yankees front office have to realize that him and Judge have to be here together. For the Yankees to once again find their glory in the baseball world, their lineup revolves around these two men.
