The Baltimore Orioles announced yesterday that starting pitcher Kyle Bradish underwent Tommy John Surgery. Earlier this spring Bradish was dealing with injuries on his elbow but he was able to pitch through it until this point. Now, he will be out for the remainder of the 2024 season.

Here is a list of the current Orioles pitchers who have injuries:

Kyle Bradish: Tommy John Surgery

John Means: Tommy John Surgery

Felix Bautista: Tommy John Surgery

Tyler Wells: Out for season

Danny Coulombe: Out until September

Dean Kremer: 15-day IL

It’s really a shame to see all of these pitching injures for the Orioles. In todays game of baseball, pitching is so important for teams. There’s many teams who have great hitters and it’s hard to get them out. It’s been an unlucky season for the Orioles pitching with injuries.

Kyle Bradish had a really nice start to the 2024 season. Here are his stats:

8 starts | 2-0 record | 39.1 IP | 2.75 ERA | 53 SO | 1.07 WHIP

Despite all these injuries for the Orioles, they still continue to find ways to win. They have one of the best records in all of baseball. On the bright side, the Orioles have one of the best pitchers in the game in Corbin Burnes. Although, there’s no question that Kyle Bradish will be a huge loss to the Orioles.
