Nobody expected this 2023 season to end the way it is. The Baltimore Orioles have officially clinched the AL East. Reading that sentence is something nobody could have thought about at the beginning of the season. After finishing 83-79 last season, many expected the O's rebuild to start paying off, that has now become an understatement.

The Orioles 2-0 victory over the Red Sox marked their first 100 win season since 1980. A rebuild that could not have gone better is finally paying off for the Orioles and their fans. The Orioles will now head into October holding the one seed in the American League.

For the future, the Orioles couldn't have set themselves up any better. A team led by young studs along with a good mix of veteran players. After October, the Orioles focusing on adding pitching could be their best shot at building a dynasty.
