The Baltimore Orioles received bad news as Spring Training begins. Their starting pitcher, Kyle Bradish, will begin the 2024 season on the injured list due to a tear in his UCL. Bradish had a PRP shot, he plans to continue to throw.
The Orioles recently acquired one of the top pitchers in all of baseball, Corbin Burnes. They were planning on having one of the best 1-2 punch for a starting rotation, that will have to be put on hold for now.
Kyle Bradish finished fourth in the 2023 AL Cy Young voting. In 2022, Bradish was a rookie. He had a rough first year, but in 2023, he was one of the best pitchers in baseball. In 30 starts, Kyle Bradish posted a 12-7 record, 168 SO, and a 2.83 ERA.
