The Texas Rangers are surprising a lot of people after going up 2-0 against the Orioles in the ALDS. Everyone knew they had a great offense, yesterday it showed once again. The Rangers scored nine early runs in their 11-8 victory over the Orioles.
Mitch Garver and Corey Seager were the talk of the offense, where Garver hit a grand slam and Seager became the first player to ever record 5 walks in a postseason game. Jordan Montgomery got the job done, but did give up 4 earned runs over 4 innings.
The series will now head to Arlington where the Rangers could make quick work of the Orioles as they go for a series sweep on Tuesday. Nathan Eovaldi will be on the mound for the Rangers.
