The Texas Rangers have announced that they re-signed outfielder Travis Jankowski to a one-year deal, worth $1.7 million. Per, GM Chris Young.

Travis Jankowski signed with the Rangers last year for just a year, which made him a free-agent this off-season. Travis Jankowski impressed a lot of people in the Rangers front office, which got him another contract with the Rangers.

Travis Jankowski made his MLB debut in 2015. He has played with San Diego, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, New York (NL), Seattle, and Texas. Jankowski had one of his best seasons in his entire career in 2023. He played in 107 games, he slashed .263/.357/.332, with 1 HR, 30 RBI's, and a .689 OPS.

Also, Travis Jankowski played key defense for the Rangers all season. This is a pretty good signing for the Rangers. Jankowski played a decent part in the Rangers postseason run to the World Series. It's going to be exciting to see how Travis Jankowski performs in his second season in Texas.
