The Texas Rangers made some very impressive moves in the last three seasons. One of them being acquiring veteran starter, Max Scherzer, from the New York Mets this past trade deadline. Battling injuries, Scherzer has been sidelined most of his Texas career. Later today, he will take the mound in game 3 of the ALCS.
Scherzer is pitching to a 13-6 record, sporting a 3.78 ERA along with 174 strikeouts this season between Texas and New York. Scherzer will go toe to toe against the Astros' Christian Javier and will get ready to try and put the Rangers lead up by another game.
Max Scherzer has been one of baseball's best pitchers of this generation. His postseason success is just as impressive as his regular season. Later today, he will have a chance to solidify himself even more as a legend pitcher of this game.
