The 2023 Home Run Derby is already oozing with talent. Yesterday, it got even more stacked with the announcement of Rays' Randy Arozarena to be the newest participant. The lineup for the Derby now includes Julio Rodríguez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Mookie Betts, and Randy Arozarena.

“I feel very happy for the opportunity to be able to participate in the Home Run Derby. It's always been a goal of mine,” ; “Everyone knows I like to hit home runs, so that's another reason why I wanted to be able to participate.”
Randy Arozarena on participating in the 2023 Home Run Derby.

Arozarena has made quite the name for himself over the last few years, but his 2023 is seemingly skyrocketing him into one of the top players in the league.

His play in the 2023 World Baseball Classic was electric and many were salivating for more. That's exactly what he is giving fans this season. Arozarena is slashing .288/.401/.484 with 15 home runs and 57 RBI.

The way Arozarena has picked up right where he left off from last season has been nothing short of impressive. His Rays club has been clicking on all cylinders this season with a record of 57-29.

With Arozarena gearing up for the Home Run Derby, there leaves only four spots left. As those spots fill up, the group of players already involved are poised to give fans a show they will not forget.
