Reds Continue Their Youthful Campaign With Another Call-Up

The Reds are already the youngest team in the National League and yesterday, they continued that trend. The club announced that they are calling up their 4th ranked prospect, RHP Connor Phillips.

Phillips was drafted by the Mariners in 2020 during the second round and was traded to the Reds in exchange for Jesse Winker. Phillips entered the Reds farm system and immediately turned heads.

In AA Chattanooga & AAA Louisville, the righty has a 3.86 ERA along with 154 strikeouts in 105 innings. Phillips is surely going to fit right in with the narrative surrounding Cincinnati and will look to make an impact with his new club.
