Spencer Strider Makes Rare History

Spencer Strider is without a doubt one of the games up and coming star pitchers. He has formed into quite the starting pitcher for the red hot Braves. Last night, he pitched himself into baseball history.

Last night against the Phillies, Strider pitched 6.0 IP, 8 H, 9 SO, allowing only 1 ER. Although impressive, he reached a career milestone only one other pitcher in MLB history had reached.

Strider became just the second starting pitcher to record 300+ strikeouts in his first 35 career starts. Strider has pitched himself a very impressive career thus far and will continue to be a staple in the Atlanta rotation for years to come.
