The Atlanta Braves Become the First Team to Clinch a Playoff Spot

The Atlanta Braves officially clinched their spot into the playoffs with a win over the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday. They become the first MLB team to clinch the playoffs this year.

The Braves are having an unbelievable season. It's truly remarkable how good the Atlanta Braves have been this season. The Braves currently have a 93-49 record. That's the best record in all of baseball.

The next step for the Atlanta Braves is to win the NL East, which they're certainly going to. They have a 15 game lead in the NL East. The Braves are primed for a deep run into October, they're certainly serious contenders to win the World Series.
