The Phillies Lineup Could Have a Big Boost as Soon as Tuesday

Bryce Harper via Fox Sports

Fans around baseball, especially those of the Phillies, got some great news regarding superstar Bryce Harper.

Per Matt Gelb of the Athletic, "Bryce Harper is seeing the doctor Monday morning. If he's cleared, he is expected to return to the Phillies' lineup Tuesday night at Dodger Stadium". Exactly 160 days after Tommy John surgery.

This Phillies team is finally getting back on track. They started the 2023 season off to a slow start and has begun to turn it around. They currently sit in 4th place in a competitive NL East division with a record of 15-14.

Bryce Harper will do wonders to this lineup. He's the leader of this Philly team and has been missed. Harper has done a great job off the field in regards to his injury timeline. He was originally set to return right around the 2023 All-Star break.

The plan for Bryce when he returns is to be the Phillies DH with hopes he could return to the OF or even get some reps at 1B. In anyway Harper will make an immediate impact to this team who has been lacking something. For fans all across baseball, this is great news for a player who is atop of the league each and every year.
