The Texas Rangers are American League Champions

The Texas Rangers took down the Houston Astros in game 7 of the ALCS and they will represent the American League in the World Series. Adolis García was the ALCS MVP. This is the first time since 2011 that the Texas Rangers are in the World Series.

Just two years ago in 2021, the Rangers finished last in the AL West with a record of 60-102. Last year, in 2022, the Rangers finished in fourth place in the AL West with a record of 68-94. Now in 2023, they're in the World Series. Quite the journey for the Rangers.

The Rangers will look to win their first World Series in franchise history. They will find out their opponent by the end of tonight, it will be either the Philadelphia Phillies or the Arizona Diamondbacks.
