The Yankees Have Had Their Struggles, Their Bullpen is a Different Story

The 2023 Yankees season has been a roller coaster to say the least. From injuries to just down right terrible performances on the field, it's safe to say it's been shaky. Nothing seems to be guaranteed with the Yankees except one area, their top tier bullpen.

The Yankees bullpen consists of nothing but, what seems like, high leverage relievers. No matter who Aaron Boone decides to go to, fans can seemingly sit comfortably.

The Yankees currently have a bullpen ERA of 2.72, that's the best in MLB. From Wandy Peralta, Michael King, and Ron Marinaccio to their closer, Clay Holmes, the Yankees get production. Holmes started the season a bit shaky but has seemingly found his groove. In his last 19 appearances, he's only given up one earned run.

As stated, this Yankees team has had struggles. Outside of Gerrit Cole, the rest of the rotation is involved with those struggles. For Aaron Boone and the Yankees, having the best bullpen in baseball has saved them loss after loss countless times. There's no telling where this team would truly be without the pen coming to the rescue.
