Cody Bellinger and Christian Yelich are finally back to being the players we all know they can be. Christian Yelich was the National League MVP in 2018. Cody Bellinger was the National League MVP in 2019. The past few years, they've both been very bad.

First, Cody Bellinger, he signed a one-year, $17.5 million contract with the Cubs. For Bellinger, it's a "prove it" year. He's certainly proving it. In 55 games for Bellinger, he's batting .298, 8 home runs, 28 RBI's, 10 stolen bases, and a .838 OPS.

For Christian Yelich, back in 2020, he signed a big contract with the Brewers, for nine years, worth $215 million. The past few years that has been a terrible deal for the Brewers, well it's certainly paying off now. For Yelich, in 84 games, he's batting .287, 11 home runs, 45 RBI's, 21 stolen bases, and a .840 OPS.

It's safe to say that Cody Bellinger and Christian Yelich are certainly back to being the players we all know they can be. It's awesome for baseball when these two are at there best. It's definitely an exciting time when there's debates of who is better, Cody Bellinger or Christian Yelich, that's when you know they're both good again.
