This Tigers Lefty Could have the AL Cy Young Locked up

The Major League Baseball season is winding down to it’s last few months of play. Teams are starting to find out if they’re going to be a contender or not. In addition to that, players are looking to see if they will win any awards. Tarik Skubal could have the American League Cy Young locked up.

Tarik Skubal has took major jumps as a pitcher. He’s solidified himself as the ace of the Detroit Tigers pitching staff. It’s been a whirlwind for Skubal, but he’s showing his full potential in his 5th season in the MLB.

Obviously there is a Triple Crown for batters, but there’s also a Triple Crown for pitchers. It’s wins, ERA, and strikeouts. Tarik Skubal leads the American League in all three of those stats.
