Three Potential Landing Spots for White Sox SP

The offseason is just beginning. Not many moves have happened, but there is one trade that could help a team out a ton. That is White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease. Cease is rumored to be one of the biggest trades this offseason. The White Sox front office has already said they're willing to trade everyone. There's three potential landing spots for Cease that could make their rotation better right away.

  • St. Louis Cardinals

The Cardinal's have been one of the most active teams in the early stages of the offseason. They have already added starting pitchers Lance Lynn and Kyle Gibson for the back end of their rotation. These are solid moves, but the Cardinals need to make that big move for a front end of the rotation pitcher. The Cardinals main issue last year was starting pitching and they need a guy like Dylan Cease to boost that rotation a lot.

  • Los Angeles Dodgers

For the past few years the Los Angeles Dodgers rotation has been the biggest problem for them. They have always made it to the playoffs, but in the playoffs their offense does go silent but you need pitching to win. If you don't have pitching then you won't succeed. That is why the Dodgers need to make the move for a top pitcher like Dylan Cease who will slide right into their ace spot. This would be a big move, and if the Dodgers get it done it could be scary.

  • Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox have been a shaky team the last few years. They play in a really tough division in the AL East with the Orioles, Rays, Blue Jays, and the Yankees. The Red Sox need a true ace like Dylan Cease. If they could trade for Cease, and add a few other players, they could be up in the top with the best in the AL East. The Red Sox have been missing a true number one and if they trade for a guy like Dylan Cease that could immediately be fixed.
