Twins Agree to a Deal With Veteran First Baseman

The Minnesota Twins and veteran free-agent first baseman, Carlos Santana are in agreement on a contract. The deal is just a one-year deal with the money part unknown. According to Darren Wolfson on X.


Carlos Santana is 37-years-old. He's played in the MLB for 14 seasons. Santana has been apart of six different teams. The Cleveland Guardians, Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, Pittsburgh Pirates, and the Milwaukee Brewers.


Carlos Santana, even in the late stages of his career, is still producing for the teams he's on. Last year, Carlos Santana played for the Pirates and Brewers. He played in 146 games, he slashed .240/.318/.429, with 23 HR's, 86 RBI's, and a .747 OPS.


For the Twins, they get a proven first baseman with a lot of experience in Carlos Santana. This will be Santana's 7th team, and he's produced on every team. The Twins will be his next stop where he'll look to continue his success.
