Twins on Historic Run, Lighting Up AL Central

MINNEAPOLIS, MN: The Minnesota Twins were victorious in yesterday’s 3-1 win over the Boston Red Sox. That game had some serious significance to it as it marked the Twins 12th consecutive win, longest since 1991, and the third time in team history.

The Twins started off 2024 with an abysmal 7-13 record. Leaving many to wonder where exactly this club would be near the All-Star break. Since then, the Twins have been the hottest team in the league and find themselves just 1.5 games back of first place.

How are they doing it? Everywhere. The Twins pitching staff has not given up more than 5 runs a game during this stretch and their offense has been clicking on all cylinders.

This Twins club has the potential to make a real move for the AL Central. However, their division rival Cleveland Guardians are on a heater of their own.

The AL Central will likely be wide open all year long. With all these clubs heading into 2024 with lower than average expectations, it’s anyone’s division. However, the Twins will certainly be right there at the end of the 2024 season.
