The Chicago White Sox have signed right-handed pitcher, John Brebbia. It is a one-year deal worth $5.5 million. Also, it's an MLB deal. The deal includes $4M salary for 2024, $6M mutual option or $1.5M buyout for ‘25. Performance bonuses for each year: $250K each at 45, 50, 55 and 50 games. According to Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic.

John Brebbia has been in the MLB for six years. He's played with just two teams, St. Louis and San Francisco. In 2023, John Brebbia had a pretty decent year with San Francisco. He appeared in 40 games and pitched 38.1 IP. John Brebbia posted a 3-5 record, 3.99 ERA, 47 SO, and a 1.17 WHIP.

The Chicago White Sox haven't done much this off-season, they're in the rebuilding stage. Although, smaller moves like this could be sneaky moves. John Brebbia will add depth to the White Sox bullpen that any team can use. John Brebbia will have a shot in the MLB, he will likely stay their all year.
